Merry Meet,

I am a big fan of your books as it is about family.
I host family Pagan Picnic every year for the past 9 years in Iowa.
This year will be our 10th year and I would like to make it a very special one.
I would like to invite you to be there for a book signing, keynote speaker. We help teach pagan families about our beliefs. This picnics is stem around children. We have workshops, crafts, games, music and a ritual that we let the children do.
We are planning on having this in September In Des Moines, Iowa.

Well, it's getting toward the end of July -- where ~has~ this year gone? -- and we're preparing for another Lammas. First Harvest. Lots to be thankful for, and lots yet to look forward to.

I was contracted earlier this year to write my first book NOT about Wicca -- and I was a little worried that the publisher would want it to be more, ah, flamboyant than I was willing to make it. I banked the first half of my advance, but worried that I'd have to pay it back if the publisher didn't like the manuscript. Well, I've recently found out that they've accepted the ms. -- yay! -- so I don't have to worry about paying back the advance. That's great, because it's already earmarked for the vacation we're taking to Scotland next summer!
